Initially launched in 1989 as edition 1.0 by Microsoft company, in conjunction with Sybase, SQL Server and its beginning versions were very similar to Sybase. However, the Microsoft-Sybase partnership demolished in the beginning 90's, and Microsoft company maintained the rights to the SQL Server trade name. Since then, Microsoft company has launched 2000, 2005 and 2008 versions, which function more advanced choices and better protection. SQL Server is a relational information source control system (RDBMS) from Microsof company that's made for the business environment. SQL Server runs on T-SQL (Transact -SQL), a set of programming additions from Sybase and Microsof company that add several functions to conventional SQL, such as transaction control, exception and error handling, row processing, and declared factors.
